CCTV Installation Certificate Approved by Dubai Police – Security Camera Installation Certificate by SIRA

UAE CCTV, a leading security systems installation company approved by police authorities across all seven emirates, is recognized for its strict adherence to Dubai Police regulations regarding security equipment. The company actively supports the UAE Ministry of Interior’s mission to make the country the safest in the world. With a commitment to enhancing security in Dubai, law enforcement authorities continuously monitor key areas of the emirate.

To achieve these safety objectives, the Police and Intelligence Department mandates the installation of security cameras in various locations and requires institutions and infrastructures operating in Dubai to implement security systems.

Formerly known as Dubai Protective Systems (DPS), the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) now oversees security regulations under Dubai Police. Guided by the principle that “Security is everyone’s responsibility,” SIRA sets standards for service providers regarding the installation, maintenance, and enhancement of security services. Given the critical role of security equipment in crime prevention, Dubai Police and security officials collaborate with security service providers to evaluate CCTV systems, ensure proper usage, and promote safe maintenance practices. Additionally, they seek input from installation companies before implementing security regulations in Dubai.

Technicians and engineers specializing in security system installation and maintenance must complete SIRA’s certification program and obtain a CCTV Engineer or Technician ID card approved by SIRA.

From this year onward, Video Guard, an advanced security system, has been mandated in specific sectors, significantly improving security measures. Dubai Police has directed SIRA-approved companies to install Video Guard in high-risk institutions such as banks, jewelry stores, commercial service centers, mobile SIM card outlets, and financial institutions.

Security officials can now monitor and oversee security equipment operations in institutions utilizing Video Guard. One of its key features is its ability to notify both customers and service providers about necessary maintenance, ensuring continuous and efficient security system functionality.
